It was the seduction, the discovery of our language and of all those possibilities that opened in front of us.

Synopsis

Hamlet is part of history; not only of the literary one, but also of the social and universal history. Hamlet has become a myth in western society and, as such, its multiple facets tell us about each of the enigmas of the human being’s personality. Morality and tradition are questioned in the face of injustice and the plots of power. A furiously current work.

The revision of William Shakespeare’s work allows us to enter the great themes of humanity, throughout history and above all the current ones: love, betrayal, society versus intimacy, art, politics, jealousy, envy, family, monarchy, gender roles, education, war, afterlife, faith, etc.

We are Hamlet in the phases of adolescence, adulthood, maturation and finally death. The great question of life and death remains in all our stages: to be or not to be, that is the question.

Almagro Festival

"The jury also decides to award two special mentions to two works: Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, with dramaturgy and direction by Marc Chornet and Raimon Mollins, from the Atrium Theater and Projecte Ingenu Company, because it is an excellent show off of physical elements but full of symbolic, which highlights a conceptual set design where the presence of water manages to create a poetic atmosphere that leads us to rediscover several of the scenes that make up this classic work"

B!ritmos

"This version shows that the proximity theater should not be limited to small-scale works; that imagination and good work, can achieve that, through squeezing creativity, the viewer is immersed in a complex text, which requires a neat staging, which seems to demand a generous space, but that, thanks to the Excellent work of all participants, you can get excited in the 60 square meters."

Federico Francesch

Espectáculos BCN

"This Hamlet transports us to an atmosphere of madness and lucidity, of realism and fantasy, of lights and shadows, typical of Shakespeare's universal work."

Ester M. González

Núvol

"The entire Hamlet will always be just an interpretation of the myriad of readings to be drawn from Shakespeare's text, and what is most appreciated in this representation is that it has not been lost in the sea of possibilities."

Anna Molas

La Vanguardia

"Two hours and twenty minutes that pass like a breath, a concentration that respects all temples, a snake of action and monologues, of strategy and seduction."

Albert Lladó

Anna Rubió

"The performance of Rosa Serra as Hamlet will surely leave you speechless. The madness of the young man is already creepy in itself, however, the actress's interpretation is so intense and her expressions so deep that, on more than one occasion, you will shake your head and shake inside."

Anna Rubió
